Here I am

This may take awhile as I have no idea what I'm doing. No surprise there...

Already, I can see it won't be as easy or intuitive as I had hoped. I had already spent quite a bit of time the other night when I signed up, looking at layouts; I selected one, hit *apply* and it looked ok, but now it's gone. I will have to go looking for it all over again.

I also see that zz has invited me to her journal and subscribed to mine but I can't find my way to anything yet, past this post page. Hopefully, I will eventually find my way back to my own journal, as well as others! Any suggestions, in short simple words, will be appreciated.

Sigh... here we go again...

Edited to add that suddenly, my layout is back. It wasn't when I originally posted, but now it is. Ok. One less thing to do. Now, to find my way around the rest of it...
